About Me

Hi!

Thank you for stopping by.

My name is Kat, the chef behind this blog. I am a mum of two fussy eaters and gorgeous boys. Hence, you will see that a lot of my recipes have hidden veggies everywhere!

Here you will find recipes for babies from traditional purees to baby-led-weaning from 5-6 months up to toddlers, school kids and even for the entire family! They are all kids approved! You see, I have got you all covered! 😉

Since having kids I have become more aware of what we eat and what to avoid. I believe in clean eat and refined sugar free. There is nothing you can’t make yourself at home to replicate what’s on the supermarket’s shelves. The best part is, they taste better too.

As a mum, I know that many first time mums want the best for their babies but don’t know where to start when they have reached the first stage of weaning. I have always cooked my baby food from scratch and loved doing so. I am a true believer of “what we feed out children determines who they will become one day”. Homemade baby and toddler food is the best thing we mums can offer our children. This is why I have started this blog to share what I love to do.

I hope you will find something yummy in here for your kids or for yourself!

  1. Hello Kat,
I love your recipes and totally agree with your philosophy about weaning babies. Last year I started Tutti Bimbi for similar reasons as you. We sell a silicone baby food freezer tray and organic bamboo washcloths. I would love for you to review our products if you are interested, and also to maybe get involved with sharing your recipes through our own blog and social media. Have a look at our website http://www.tutti-bimbi.com to see if you would be interested in working with us.
    Best wishes,

  2. Thanks for stopping by Self-help Health and liking several of my posts. I always appreciate when someone takes the time to do that, plus it helps lead me back to what they’re up to, like this neat blog of yours. Love what you are doing here…. and your kids are so fortunate to be brought up on such healthy foods. I don’t have kids, but am thinking of trying the pumpkin capsicum curry and powerhouse puree myself. 🙂 Keep up the good work! I’ll keep your site in mind if anyone asks me about where to find healthy recipes for toddlers and kids.
